Execution of load planning (manual or in TMS) of truck transport from the European sources & European ports focusing on fastest possible delivery against projected cost and closely chasing carrier performance on visibility and on time delivery
• Network planning for European deliveries (truck, shortsea), balancing transit time and cost
• High quality dealer communication in DOCS related to truck and shortsea moves in the European network. Communication in English and French
• Operations management of forwarders and carriers, ie active follow up of acceptance, ETA, pick up & delivery of truck moves in the European network.
• Define and support RCCA in case of failures
• Initiate and follow up on spot quote requests & Permit prealerts
• Communication/coordination with the shipping floors, GSC, TLA, TLM, freight forwarder & carrier
• Carrier forecasts and capacity planning
• Proactive management of quality holds or other disruptions in the network
• Help to resolve data quality issues (missing data in TMS etc)
